Humana’s Bold Goal team in Kansas City was busy before COVID-19 became a threat, now its partnerships are ramping up along with efforts to get support to residents who need it most.

Humana and the Humana Foundation are working together with our community partners to address social determinants of health, such as food security and social connection in San Antonio.
We partnered with Papa Inc. to connect college students, known as Papa Pals, to seniors who were at risk for loneliness to provide companionship, assistance with house chores, technology lessons, and other senior services. It helped us understand that engaging member with a college student (Papa Pal) helps reduce loneliness and Unhealthy Days.
